Isa Al-Masih

Are You A Muslim Carrying A Load of Sin? There is Help!

darkheartThis statement is true, “No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another...” (Qs. 6:164). No one who bears the burden of sin can bear the burden of another. But what if there was someone who had no burden of His own?  Can’t he then bear the burden of another? Yes, He can. The angel that appeared to Mary announced that her miraculous son would have no burden of his own. He called Him “a holy son” (Qs 19:19). This special son is Isa Al-Masih (Jesus Christ).

The Holy Son Bore Our Sins

Long before He was born, Isaiah prophesied saying, “He took our infirmities and carried our sorrows…We all like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way and the Lord laid on him the iniquity (sin) of us all” (Prophet Isaiah 53:4-6). When Isa died on the cross, He was bearing the burden of your sin and my sin. He could do this for He was “a holy son” and without sin.  The apostle Peter writes, “He (Jesus) himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness . . . ” (I Peter 2:24).

We All Need Isa Al-Masih to Bear Our Burden of Sin

Yes, we are all included in the people that went astray. We all chose our own way, the way of sin that leads to Hell. But there is good news! Because God loves us, He provided a burden-bearer, a sin-bearer for us. Now He offers us the holiness and righteousness of Isa Al-Masih.

He never sinned, but lovingly took our burden of sin. Now Jesus Christ calls out, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Injil, Matthew 11:28).  This is good news indeed. Do it today!  Come to Him!  He will take away your sin!  He will give you true rest!

I am very thankful because I have faith in the Son of God. He willingly bore all the sins of humans through His suffering. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen

Winta,

I am thankful too, that you have found forgiveness of sins in Isa Al-Masih. As you said, He willingly gave His life as the sacrifice for our sins that separate us from Allah. Because of His sacrifice, we can enter into a relationship with Allah and be his children.

The holy prophet Adam had no father and mother and Isa had a virgin mother. By viewing these creations, a child will ask "why don't we name Adam the elder son of God?"

In 325 A.D., the true history of the Prophet Isa was changed at the Council of Nicea. We love Isa (peace be upon him) as a holy prophet as we love other prophets.

Andy,

Thank you for your comment. You are right that Adam had no parents and that Isa's mother, Mary, was a virgin. And you are right that some might call Adam the first son of God, but the term "Son of God" is not literal. It is figurative because Isa and Allah had a father-son relationship. Here is an article that explains this a little better: isaandislam.com/christian-beliefs/qson-of-godq-what-does-that-mean.html

I read, "When Isa died on the cross, He was bearing the burden of your sin and my sin."

My question is, to whom or to what?

Muslim,

That is a very good question! When Isa died, He took our sins upon Himself. In the Taurat, the Jews had to sacrifice a perfect lamb to God because their sin separated them from God. The only thing that made them (and us) clean is a blood sacrifice. So the sin was put onto the animal that was sacrifice.

When Isa died, He was dying as the ultimate sacrifice for all of mankind. In doing this, he took all of our sins onto Himself.

Jelia,

There are a couple of things you should do. The first one is to read the Injil! If you don't have a copy, you can read it online. www.biblegateway.com is a good website to read the Bible.

Another way you can learn more about Isa Al-Masih is to sign up for our "Minute Message" based off the Al-Fatiha. This will send an e-mail once a week to you, using the Al-Fatiha to teach you about Isa.
