As stated in earlier questions, the Koran gives us some amazing facts about Isa Al-Masih. Only two critical statements about Him are untrue. First, the Koran states that Isa Al-Masih was only a man. The Bible teaches us that Isa Al-Masih was God who descended from heaven and became a man. Second, the Koran teaches that Isa Al-Masih avoided the cross. The Bible teaches that although He could have avoided the cross and had the power to come down from the cross, He chose to suffer and die and pay the penalty for the sins of mankind. Indeed He died but He also rose and ascended back into heaven (which is confirmed by the Koran).
