Evil - It Is Everywhere!
The evil in this world is real and powerful. People suffer from lies, rage, and murder. Families and communities are tormented and afflicted. The darkness in this world enslaves and imprisons countless people. Evil waits for you. The Injil tells us, “Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (Injil, 1 Peter 5:8).
Where Does Evil Come From?
Where does evil come from? What is the source of our suffering and pain? Satan, the devil, is the source of all evil, pain, and suffering. Satan and his host of evil spirits are enemies of God and enemies of men. The Quran says, “…for Satan is to man an avowed enemy” (Qs 17:53). Satan wants to control you, hurt you, and keep you from God. Satan tricks and deceives. But you must know the truth in order to find protection from evil forces.
Only God Has Power over Satan
Since Satan is such a powerful being, how can men stand up to him? How can we protect our families and communities from his power? Only one person has ever had power over Satan and his host of demons. He is Isa Al-Masih. Satan does not want you know this truth! Satan will give you hope in things other than Isa Al-Masih. He will give you words that sound good. In the end they are only tricks and lies that lead to Hell.
Isa Al-Masih Has Authority and Power over the Evil
Isa Al-Masih performed many miracles. Many of them involved freeing people from evil forces. In an event recorded in the Injil, Isa commanded an evil spirit to come out of a man in the synagogue (Injil, Mark 1:23-27).
Are You Under Attack by the Forces of Darkness?
Are you under attack from the powers of darkness? Is your heart filled with fear, pain, anger, or hopelessness? God does not want man to suffer. God wants us to have victory and power over the forces of darkness. He wants our hearts to be filled with hope and courage. The Injil tells us, “But the Lord (Isa Al-Masih) is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil One” (Injil, 2 Thessalonians 3:3).
God gives a special peace that can only come through Isa Al-Masih. In the Injil, Isa Al-Masih told us, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (Injil, John 14:7).
The Giver of Life and Protector of Our Souls
Isa Al-Masih is the keeper of our earthly life, and the giver of eternal life. He protects our souls. The forces of evil and darkness have no power over us if we are in Him.
What does “In Him” mean? If you accept Isa Al-Masih as your savior, and believe that He paid the price for your sins by His death on the cross you will be saved. You will have life in Him. This is salvation. Isa Al-Masih died for you so you can live in Him. He calls to you. Let Him be Lord of your life. He will give you eternal life and protect you from the forces of darkness and the fear of death forever.

Devout Muslim Declares His Apostasy to Islam
Early this May, the young Muslim theologian and apologist Farhan Qureshi, renounced his faith in Islam. Qureshi was a devout Muslim who spent many years of his life involved in da’wah (spreading Islam). He studied and experienced many denominations of the Muslim faith. He spent years defending and spreading his faith. But recently, he decided that Islam was a destructive force. He stated that Islam is in conflict with the basics of human nature. Mr. Qureshi has many of the same complaints against Islam that Christians have against it.
Islam Runs Counter to the Basic Needs of the Human Community
As a psychologist, Mr. Qureshi found the basics of Islam do not address the needs of the individual or the community. The fear tactics used by the Muslim world is very disturbing to Mr. Qureshi. He could be killed under their religious law for renouncing his faith. Mr. Qureshi believes the use of fear and force is a primitive form of religion. Especially when it is used to preserve a religious or political agenda as Sharia does.
The Injil of Isa Al-Masih proclaims a different message. Isa Al-Masih tells us that it is love and not fear that should be our greatest motivator. The Injil tells us, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18). Islamic law uses fear to control its members. Isa Al-Masih turned the law of fear upside-down. He gave the world the law of love and grace.
The Arab Civilization Become Stagnant
In his letter of apostasy, Mr. Qureshi stated the Arab civilization had become stagnant. Muslim conservatives would not allow the Arab civilization to evolve and move forward. Thus it was surpassed by Western Europe. This was due to the progressive attitude and rationalism of the West. There were once Muslim progressive rationalists during Islam’s “golden era” of the eighth century. But they were deemed heretics and apostates. They were all killed-off leaving the Muslim world in a dark place.
The Bible Encourages Humans to Evolve Socially
The Bible encourages the individual to seek knowledge and pursue it. The invitation to learn and evolve spiritually and humanly is deeply embedded in the Bible. The Christian is challenged to take his wisdom, love and faith into the world. The Christian should bring about progressive changes that will enhance the lives of all people. “And may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you” (I Thessalonians 3:12, NASB). Godly wisdom is not just needed for individual salvation, but also to carry humanity onward and upward. Through a better and changing world, the Injil of grace through Isa Al-Masih can be better understood and more deeply desired.

Osama Bin Laden or Isa Al-Masih – Who is the Best Servant of Allah?
The world watched as President Obama announced that Osama Bin Laden was killed by American military forces in Pakistan. This was in response to the terrorist attacks carried out against the citizens of the United States. Some may see this action as simple murder and an attack on Islam, and some may see it as an act of justice forced upon an enemy of the state.
How we see this event or any other event, is a matter of morals formed by the influence of social, mental, emotional and spiritual impact on our lives. This morning we are all aware of what happened, but what is even more important is why this happened. Was Bin Laden a cold-blooded murderer, or was he rightfully fighting the enemies of God and Islam?
If we choose to study the facts through a purely spiritual lens, we can see the events that framed Bin Laden’s later life very clearly. Laying aside all national loyalty, patriotism, and the like, let’s look to scripture alone for the answers. This is a comparison of the actions of Osama Bin Laden and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
