The King of Kings and Lord of Lords

King of Kings

Isa KillsDajjal the Antichrist

In the first article of this series entitled, “The Battle of Isa and Dajjal,” we discussed the deceiving prophet Dajjal who is also referred to in the Hadith as the antichrist.(1)  That he will appear on earth and claim to be God! Many people will follow him and accept his false testimony. But in the end, he will be slain by Isa. According to the Sunni Hadith,(2) The spear of Isa shall plunge into Dajjal’s chest, ending his dreaded reign… all those who embraced the evil of Dajjal shall perish even as the Breath of Isa touches them.”

This is what the Bible teaches about the wrath of Isa: “Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter.  He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:15, 16). What a glorious victory this will be!

Everyone Who Rejects Isa and Follows Dajjal Will Die

There will be no escape for anyone who accepted the lies of the antichrist and followed him. The Hadith says, “The followers of Dajjal will be rooted out, for even the trees and rocks will speak out against them.” They will all be hunted-down and killed.  The Injil tells us that, The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse (Isa)…” (Revelation 19:21).

Isa Will Destroy Every Enemy of God Including Death Itself

For those who believe in the testimony of Isa and have believed in his sacrifice upon the cross, this will be a joyous and wonderful day!  The Hadith says that after the followers of the antichrist (Dajjal) have been destroyed, Isa will “Break the cross and kill the pig.”

This statement should not be misunderstood. It is explained in the Injil. “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him” (Hebrews 9:27, 28). Isa died once upon the cross to take away the sins of those who believe in Him.  When he returns the second time, it will not be to die again, but to bring salvation and victory to those who believed.  The power of death will have been destroyed. The cross will no longer be relevant. The instrument which brought death will be broken forever.  It will be a new age of life and glory.

Who Will Be Saved From the Wrath of God?

So, who will be saved from the wrath of God? Who on the earth will Isa spare?  Only those who have the testimony of Isa will be saved. And all those who had been killed for their testimony of Isa will be raised to life and reign with Him for a thousand years!  It is written in the Injil, “…And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God…They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4). And what is the testimony of Isa? It is this:If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Only By the Blood of Isa Will Anyone Be Saved

And as far as the second part of the statement concerning the “killing of the pig”, the pig represents everything that is unclean before God. Then what is clean before God?  Whatever is washed in the blood of Isa is clean before God. And Isa testified to this himself when he said, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:28).

Will Muslims go to Heaven?

Dear Jackson,
~
You asked an excellent question! The only people who will be going to heaven are those who are righteous before God. And as human beings, we know that we all sin and we are all unrighteous. Our thoughts and actions convict us every day. Whether you claim to be Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, etc...if you are not righteous before God you will not go to heaven.
~
So how do you become righteous before God? We have to admit that we are sinners, turn away from our sinful nature, and accept God's sacrifice for our sins. Because God loves his creation, He provided a sacrifice for us in order to make us righteous in His eyes. And that sacrifice was Isa (Jesus).
~
Isa was the perfect man and the perfect servant of God who gave himself as a sacrifice for all mankind. This was God's will for him. And God's will for us to believe and accept Isa's sacrifice. Isa said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (Injil John 14:6). And again Isa said, "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life..." (Injil John 6:40)

That is exactly why I asked, because it is hard to find a Muslim to acknowledge that Jesus is the way and the truth, and believing in Him one shall go to heaven. And also that he died for their sins.
~
Is it a different religion accepted by God because they are descendants of Abraham and the Lord was there for Ishmael and the mother? How can they get away with not fully acknowledging that Jesus is the way?

Dear Jackson,
~
Thank you again for your thoughtful questions. Let’s first address the question of Islam being accepted by God because of Ishmael. God does not regard or accept any “religion”. What God wants is a personal relationship with each individual. But since we are sinful creatures, we are unable to have that relationship with God because He is holy and righteous.
~
First we must be made acceptable before God. We must be cleansed from all unrighteousness . And we can’t cleanse ourselves no matter how hard we try, because we can’t forgive sin-- only God can!
~
Good works can never, ever remove our sins. Living clean and chaste lives will never remove our sins. Only God can remove our sins and make us acceptable to Him. So God sent His Son, Isa, to be a sacrifice for the sins of the world. Isa is our atoning sacrifice for our sins. It is written, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Isa died and rose again, so that we may have life in Him with God. This is salvation.

Most people confess their sins in their respective ways of practicing their faith, and as a result expect forgiveness because they believe there is one God.
~
For example, in Islam they strongly advocate that there is one God. How do you convince such a person who is repentant and cries to the lord through fasting, praying so many times a day that it’s only through Isa that sins are forgiven?

Dear Jackson
~
If there is forgiveness by prayer, fasting and tears, why does the Quran say the on the Day of Judgment the good deeds and evil deeds will be placed on a scale. There should be no evil deeds to weigh if God has forgiven them. So either a Muslims evil deeds are not forgiven through fasting and prayer and will be weighed on the scales at judgment. Or their sins are forgiven through fasting and prayer and there is nothing to weigh in which case the Quran is wrong.
~
Believing there is one God is good. There is only one God. And that one true God gave man the way of forgiveness and salvation. The one true God sent Isa Al-Masih to take upon himself the sins of the world. And believing in Him, we may know salvation and forgiveness and life.
~
If Muslims will look within their own Quran they will discover that Isa was not just another man or prophet. He was divinely different. He was born of a virgin, healed the blind, deaf and dumb and even raised people from the dead. The Quran says he is a word and spirit from Allah. If they would recognize through the Quran how different Isa was from every person who ever lived, they would seek to know more about him and his purpose from God. Isa said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me” (Injil John 14:6).

According to islam, I think there are seven gates. On the day of resurrection, those who fasted will pass through one gate. And those who did not fast will pass through different gates.

Dear Jackson,
~
Isa Al-Masih said, "I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved..."(Injil John 10:9). If we believe in Isa and have accepted him as our Lord and Saviour, we do not ever have to worry about any other gates.
~
In Islam, there is no assurance of salvation. No Muslim knows for sure where they will spend eternity, because their faith is based on performance.

The writer seems to be a Christian. He or She knows little about his or her scripture let alone Islamic hadith. Isa was never killed nor did ne die on the cross. This was conjectured by Paul who never knew Isa. Deuteronomy 21:23, Mark 14:50, Mathew 26:36-39, John 12:27-28, Mark 14:50, 1 Corinthian 15:3,14,34,35, 42-44.

Dear Kamar,
~
You must believe that Isa died for your sins before you can be saved. Isa himself predicted His death in Mark 8:31 “He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again.” He also proclaimed that he did die and was resurrected in Revelation 1:18 “I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” Please read the Gospel of Jesus Christ and fall upon His love and Mercy and be saved!

I fail to understand. How can you say Jesus died for the sins of others? Suppose some one kills someone and confesses the sin to judge Jesus. Will Jesus who died for my sins tell me I am forgiven? I think logically, islam is the right and true religon.

Dear Mansoor,
~
Logically, you proved that we all need Lord Jesus. Since there is not a person in the world who does not sin, how can we escape the punishment of hell? We must be forgiven of our sins or we will be condemned on the day of judgment. Yes, Jesus will forgive us our sins. "If we confess our sins, he (Jesus) is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness " 1 John 1:9. That is the comfort and joy of all those who beleive that Jesus died for our sins and by His blood he will forgive our sins. Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father except through me" Ingil, John 14:6.

Anyone who rejects Islam is a follower of the anti-Christ. Jesus Christ did not practice Christianity. He is not the founder of Christianity. He is a pure Muslim.

Tonny,

The Injil teaches that those who follow anyone but Isa Al-Masih are followers of the anti-Christ. Isa Al-Masih did not bring a new religion, but came to earth to bring people into a right relationship with God. http://www.isaandislam.com/Isa-Al-Masih/did-isa-al-masih-bring-a-new-religion.html

Syed Hussin,

I’m not quite sure exactly what you mean by these verses. However, we do agree that God is the creator, God exists, and God provides everything for humans. God is also in control of everything on heaven and earth.

However, in addition to that, the Quran also describes Isa Al-Masih. As observed through the Quran one should see Him as more than a prophet. He is God’s messenger who comes from above and was born of the virgin Maryam. He is from God’s Word through God’s Spirit. He did miracles while he was on earth. He will also return to earth at the end of time to deliver His followers. He’ll also judge people according to what they have done. The Injil calls Him God and the son of God.

Everyone has sinned, not even one single person doesn’t sin (Romans 3:23). So God sent Isa Al-Masih as a perfect, living sacrifice. Through His blood, one is saved if he repents and believes in Isa Al-Masih as the ultimate sacrifice for his sins. He is the way to God the Father. Thank you.
