The Quran or The Injil? Which One is More Perfect?

27 January 2017 by Jasmin Leave a Comment

alkitab alquranThe Quran claims to refine the Injil. Ahmadiyya claims to refine Islam. The Bahai religion claims to refine everything. Claiming to refine something is how a new religion becomes accepted. Which one is more perfect between the two books? We’ll compare the Quran and the Injil.

Why Doesn’t Islam Accept the Injil?

Christians believe, the Injil fulfills the Taurat, the Zabur, and the Prophets. Christians compiled those books together as the Bible. The Taurat prophesied about Isa Al-Masih, and the Injil fulfilled it. The Bible is bound by one theme: God saves mankind through the death of Isa Al-Masih.

Muslims believe, the Quran refines the Injil, but they won’t read it. They believe, the Injil has been changed. They think, the one we have now is not the original. Even if you believe this, it is still important to compare these books.

The Quran or the Injil: Loving Enemies

Isa said, “ . . . love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (The Injil, Matthew 5:44). On the other hand, the Quran teaches: “O ye who believe! Fight the unbelievers . . . ” (Qs 9:123). Isn’t loving your enemies nobler than fighting them?

Bible studyThe Quran or the Injil: Higher Morality

Isa Al-Masih said, “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you . . . ” (The Injil, Matthew 7:12). This is the highest rule of moral conduct.

It’s different from what the Quran teaches. “Muhammad . . . and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other . . . ” (Qs 48:29). Isn’t it nobler to treat all others well?

The Quran or the Injil: Guarantee of Salvation

Isa Al-Masih promised: “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish . . . ” (The Injil, John 10:28). Isa’s promise guarantees eternal life in heaven. On the contrary, the Quran promises: “It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell” (Qs 19:71).

After comparing the Quran and the Injil, which one is more perfect. Isn’t Isa Al-Masih’s assurance of eternal life more comforting than the Quran’s assurance of hell? Isa wants you to be in heaven with Him after you die! You don’t have to wonder! Trust in Isa today for eternal life.
