5 Miracles of Isa Al-Masih in the Quran

14 August 2020 by Caleb Rahmat 2 Comments

The Quran mentions several miracles performed by Isa Al-Masih. Below are 5 miracles of Isa that are affirmed by the Injil. Do you believe Isa can do a miracle for you too?

Did you know Isa Al-Masih’s greatest miracle affects your eternal joy and salvation? Email us if you want to know more.

1. Isa Al-Masih Had No Biological Father

The Quran states, “So she conceived him . . .” (Qs 19:22). Muslims agree Isa was born without a biological father. The Injil bears witness to that fact: “. . . that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit” (Gospels, Matthew 1:20).

2. Isa Al-Masih Healed the Sick and Blind

The Quran also records some of Isa’s miraculous healings. “. . . I cure the blind and the leper . . .” (Qs 3:49).

Centuries earlier, the Injil bore witness to Isa healing people who were: bleeding, paralyzed, lame, mute, deaf, and blind (Gospels, Mark 10:46-52).

3. Isa Al-Masih Knows Hidden Secrets

The Quran acknowledges Isa’s ability to know hidden things. “. . . And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses . . .” (Qs 3:49). This affirms the Injil’s teaching of Isa being all knowing. For instance, He knew everything about a Samaritan woman (Gospels, John 4:17-19).

4. Isa Al-Masih Had Food Sent Down from Heaven

Al-Ma’idah, the fifth chapter of the Quran, declares that Isa has the power to have food sent down from above. He prayed, “O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven . . .” (Qs 5:112-114). The Injil testifies that Isa fed 5,000 people and 4,000 people with very little food (Gospels, Matthew 14:13-21; 15:32-39).

He has the ability to meet all our physical and spiritual needs.

5. Isa Al-Masih Raised the Dead

The fifth miracle of Isa in the Quran is raising someone from the dead. “. . . I give life to the dead . . .” (Qs 3:49).

The Gospels record how Isa raised several people from the dead (Gospels, Luke 7:11-17; 8:40-56), including Lazarus (Gospels, John 11:1-46).

Isa’s Greatest Miracle for You

These 5 miracles of Isa Al-Masih are amazing, but they are still not His greatest miracle. The best thing He has done for us is to give us eternal life.

He declares, “. . . I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die . . .” (Gospels, John 11:25-26).

Believe in Isa Al-Masih for your eternal salvation and joy! He is able to wipe all your sins away. Contact us with your opinion of these 5 miracles of Isa.

If Jesus is not the actual son of Allah, how does one explain Surah 21:91? The plural word “we” is used for a singular God. There is also a Holy Spirit of Allah. Is there an explanation for this?
    Thank you

      Dear Bruce Wacker,

We appreciate your sincere comment. The existence of God, His Spirit and His Word (Isa/Jesus) are also written in Surah 3:45 and 66:12. God breathed His Spirit into the virgin Mary’s womb to testify God’s Word in the life of Jesus.

It’s important for Muslims to study the Bible as instructed by the Quran in Surah 5:46 and 10:94 because Jesus is the guidance and light for the righteous.

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6). Jesus is the truth and the way to heaven.
