Some people charge Isa Al-Masih with dishonoring his mother. It is a baseless charge. Indeed in Matthew chapter 12 Isa Al-Masih taught his listeners that everyone who does the will of the Father is as near to him as his mother or his brothers. There is nothing here that indicates that Isa Al-Masih did not honor his mother, nor that he did not take time to speak with her. Clearly what happened at Isa Al-Masih’s crucifixion reveals how He loved and cared for His mother. In the midst of his own deep suffering, Isa Al-Masih made provision for the care of his mother. See John 19:26-27.
