The Battle of Isa and Dajjal

13 July 2011 by Web Administrator 7 Comments

Devil vs Jesus

Many Muslims and Christians today believe we are fast approaching what is referred to as “the end times.”  This period will consist of a series of fantastic events which the earth and mankind have never before experienced. The first major event will be the appearing of an evil and powerful deceiver. This deceiving prophet is called Dajjal in the Muslim Hadith.(1)  In the Bible he is called the Anti-Christ.

Dajjal Will Try to Deceive the World and Declare Himself God!

The Hadith states that Dajjal will appear in the last days somewhere between Syria and Iraq. He will try to deceive the whole world and declare himself God! But Dajjal will eventually be slain by the Great Servant of God.  And not only will Dajjal be slain, but all the people who followed him will be killed by the great Servant of God. So, who is this mighty and great Servant of God?

Isa Al-Masih Will Kill Dajjal and All His Followers

According to the Sunni Hadith, Isa Al-Masih is that great Servant of God.  Isa will descend from heaven in the last days with two angels.  They will battle Dajjal and all the people who embraced his evil. Isa will be victorious and kill Dajjal and everyone who followed him. The Sunni Hadith states that, “All those who embraced the evil of Dajjal shall perish even as the breath of Isa touches them.”(2)

Isa Will Bring Peace to the World

After the final battle, Isa will bring peace on earth. The Hadith states that, “Then all battles shall cease and the world will know an age of peace. Then truly the sheep will lie in the shadow of the wolf without fear. The rule of Isa will be just and all shall flock to him to enter the folds of the one true religion, Islam.”(2) The word Islam, of course, is derived from the Arabic root “Salema” which merely means peace, purity, submission and obedience.

God has Given All Authority to Isa. He will Reign as King!

God has given the greatest honor and authority ever known to His servant, Isa Al-Masih (Jesus, the Messiah, e.g. Jesus Christ).  God wants all people to believe in Him and follow him.  Isa said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).Are you ready for the return of Isa Al-Masih? Have you read what Isa Himself says in the Bible about the end of days? And about the destruction of the Anti-Christ and all the people who did not accept Isa’s testimony?

Are You Ready for the Return of Isa?  Have You Accepted Him as Lord and Savior?

Yes, Isa will return and destroy all wickedness and bring everlasting peace on earth.  And when he comes, He will spare only those who have Honored God by believing that He is the Messiah. Have you made your heart right with God? Have you accepted His salvation? Isa has prayed for you that you might turn to Him, “…I pray also for those who will believe in me . . . that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you” (John 17:20, 21).

(1)   Dajjal of the Hadith is not the antichrist of the Bible. The Bible does not support some of what the Hadith states concerning Dajjal.

      Dear Robiu,

Is it true? According to the Sunni Hadith, Isa will destroy the enemy of God called Dajjal who is also called the anti-Christ. The word anti-Christ means “against Christ”. So, the evil one is the enemy of Isa. The followers of the anti-Christ will be enemies of Isa. They will all be destroyed.

Everyone who put his faith in Isa Al-Masih and accepted Him as the Savior will be spared. In the Bible, Isa tells us, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me” (John 14:6). Isa came to the world to save us from our sins and the wrath of God. God loves you.

The Future Signs of the Hour:

    • The Mahdi (guided one) will appear, and be the leader of the Muslims. ‘Eesaa (Jesus) will descend in Damascus, and pray behind the Mahdi.
    • Jesus will break the cross and kill the swine, i.e. destroy the false Christianity.
    • The Anti-Christ will appear, with all his tools of deception, and be an immense trial. He will be followed by 70,000 Jews from Isfahan (present-day Iran).
    • A major war between the Muslims led by the Leader Al-Mahdi, and the Jews plus other non-Muslims led by the anti-Christ.
    • Jesus will kill the anti-Christ at the gate of Ludd (Lod in present-day Israel, site of an airport and a major Israeli military base).
    • A time of great peace and serenity during and after the remaining lifetime of Jesus.
    • The blowing in the Trumpet by the Angel Israafeel upon which everyone will die.
    • The second blowing in the Trumpet, upon which everyone will be resurrected.

      Dear Isti,

I have some questions for you:
      – Who is the Mahdi?
      – What is anti-Christ? And who are they?
      – Why were there taken place in Israel?

The Mahdi will be Prophet Muhammad’s descendant and will be the last Moslem leader and a sign that the hour is in the horizon.

Anti-Christ is the Dajjal (false messiah). Do you remember that the Jews don’t believe that Jesus is the messiah and they are still waiting for the coming of their messiah? Dajjal (anti-Christ) will be the Jews’ long-awaited messiah.

Why in Israel? I don’t know but i think it is because Israel is where most Jews live. God will punish the Jews since they have disobeyed many prophets who were sent to them. The Jews (Paul in particular) have changed the teaching of Jesus Christ so that we have Christianity today. Did you also know that the Jews also tried to change the teaching of Muhammad? That’s why we have Syiah Islam today whose headquarter is in Iran.

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Umar: Allah’s Messenger (salallahu ‘alaihi wa salaam) said, “Tonight I saw myself in a dream near the Ka’baah. I saw a whitish brown man, the handsomest of all brown men you might ever see. He had the most beautiful Limma (hair hanging down to the earlobes) you might ever see. He had combed it and it was dripping water; and he was performing Tawaf around the Ka’baah leaning on two men or on the shoulders of two men. I asked ‘Who is this?’ It was said, ‘Al-Messiah, the son of Maryam (Mary).’ Suddenly, I saw a curly-haired man, blind in the right eye which looked like a protruding grape. I asked ‘Who is this?’ It was said, ‘He is Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal’ (the false messiah, Anti-Christ). (Sahih Bukhari 5902)

      Isti,

Many thanks for your comment. However, as quoted in the article, Dajjal of the Hadith is not the anti-Christ of the Bible. The Bible does not support some of what the Hadith states concerning Dajjal.

There are things in the Quran that are unacceptable by Christians. Because they can’t be found in the Bible.
