Quran: Muslims Must Believe in the Torah, Zabur and Injil!

10 December 2021 by Web Administrator Leave a Comment

Have you ever wondered if you should believe in the holy books that came before the Quran? Should Muslims believe the Torah, Zabur, and Injil? What’s actually found in these books?

The third pillar of Islam is faith in all the holy books (Torah, Zabur, Injil, and Quran). Having faith means acknowledging these books contain truth from Allah.

Allah has revealed these books so every person can have true faith. As a Muslim, can you honestly say you believe these books when you’ve never read them? Please answer here.

The Torah and Zabur Contain Instructions

In the past, Allah revealed His will and gave instructions through the prophets. No one can know Allah’s will and the way to heaven if they don’t read His Word.

The Quran says the Torah is a guide. “. . . We gave Moses the Book (Torah). . . to be a lamp for mankind and guidance and mercy, so that they may remember” (Qs. 28:43). The Quran also records,“. . . The Zabur and the book that gives a perfect explanation” (Qs 3:184).

Allah revealed the Torah to Moses and the Zabur to David. Besides containing commandments for Allah’s people, these two books also give predictions about the coming of the Savior and Redeemer.

After man fell into sin, the devil began his rule on earth. Allah promised the coming of a great King who will deliver mankind from the bondage of sin. His kingdom will last forever.

The Torah and Zabur give some clues about that Person. The Torah states that Allah will send a prophet like Moses, from the descendants of Israel (Deuteronomy 18). And He is also a descendant of the Prophet David (Zabur 132:11).

What about the Injil?

The Injil Completes the Torah and Zabur

The word “Injil” means good news. The good news conveyed in the Injil is the message of salvation for sinners. The Bible records that Isa Al-Masih is the One who will save mankind from sin.

Isa Al-Masih came to fulfill the previous books (Torah and Zabur). “Do not think that I [Isa] have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I [Isa] have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them” (Injil, Matthew 5:17).

Faith in Allah’s Holy Book: The Torah and Injil Contain the Truth!

“It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step) in truth the Book confirming what went before it; and He sent down Law (Of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this as a guide to mankind …” (Qs 3:3).

In the verse above, the Quran states that the Torah and Injil are the truth. Isa Al-Masih has fulfilled many prophecies from the Torah.

Isa Al-Masih has also saved us from the punishment of sin. His coming provides the way to heaven and gives direction on how we can have eternal life.

Do you want to have true faith in Allah’s Holy Books by believing in Isa Al-Masih? This way your faith will be perfected, and you will know the way to heaven. Please contact us to learn more.
