The Purpose of this Website
Christians and Muslims view themselves as two distinct religious communities divided by large doctrinal differences. However, upon closer study it becomes clear to us that there is one thing we have in common, and that is the person of Isa Al-Masih, spoken of in both the Bible and the Quran.
Most Christians do not know that the Quran speaks about Isa Al-Masih. Moreover, many Muslims themselves are unaware of what the Quran, the Hadith, and Muslim scholars teach about him. Our purpose in this website is to help Christians and Muslims better understand what both the Bible and the Quran teach about Isa Al-Masih.
These two world class religions agree on many things about Isa Al-Masih. Nevertheless, there are significant differences, and it is important that we look at them. We will examine where these differences are found in both the Quran and the Bible, and then from there discern the starting points from which we can begin our dialogue on the person of Isa Al-Masih.
But we want to go further than dialoguing about who Isa Al-Masih is. We are also committed to deepen our studies so that as Christians and Muslims we will understand the work of Isa Al-Masih–the work of salvation–what he accomplished in order that we might know the way of salvation and that we might be assured of receiving eternal life in heaven with God.
We are certain that as we discover together the nature of Isa Al-Masih– who he is and what he has done–we will create a spirit of gracious unity between Christians and Muslims. It is this respectful witness that will allow us to look at Isa Al-Masih together.
It is important to point out that not all Westerners are followers of Isa Al-Masih, even though they may call themselves Christians. If they do not follow the way of Isa, then they are not truly Christian. According to the Gospels–the Injil–Christians are people who have submitted to Isa Al-Masih and who have become followers of the Isa-Way.
