The reason God made a rule of what we can and cannot do is to keep us safe from harm.
Like alcohol, if we drink too much, we get angry quickly and have bad habits.
My main addiction is eating sugar, most of the time, when parents aren’t around and sitting on the computer and spending time too much on the phone. I don’t often go outside like before. I go outside at my backyard listening to music. Now I shop with my mom. This will change. I am going to get a job.

Dear Iqra,
God wants us to keep His commandments because He loves us. His words cleanse us from unrighteousness. Our joy is full when we are in continuous fellowship with the Lord by studying, meditating and applying the Scriptures in our daily life.
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
(John 17:17 KJV)
“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”
(John 15:10-11 KJV)
