Praying for Prophet Isa is Disrespectful!

29 April 2022 by Web Administrator Leave a Comment

Some Muslims think Christians don’t respect Isa because Christians don’t pray for Isa, their prophet. Why don’t Christians pray for Jesus? The answer to this question can be confusing. The conversations in the video help to straighten out begin with answering what is the purpose of the prayer.

Isa Al-Masih is in heaven and the source of all blessing, mercy, and salvation. He is eternal, He is in heaven, and He will be the Great Judge at the end of the world. That’s the main reason why it’s not necessary to pray for Prophet Isa. Prophet Isa doesn’t need mercy because He is the source of all mercy.

How do you show respect to Prophet Isa? You obey his commands. In the Gospel of John 14:15 Prophet Isa says, “If you love me, keep my commands.” When we obey Isa Al-Masih’s commands, we show our love and respect for Him.
