The only woman in the Quran is Maryam, Isa Al-Masih’s mother. Qs 3:42 says, “O Mary, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds.” The Injil agrees with this. The angel Gabriel appeared to Maryam to tell her that she would have Isa. He said, “‘Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!’ … ‘for you have found favor with God!’” (Injil, Luke 1:28, 30).
