First, the Holy Bible is the source for Christian faith and doctrine and Muhammad is not mentioned in these Scriptures. How can Christians give an honest evaluation about a person who is never mentioned in their sacred writings? If asked to comment on Adam, Abraham, Moses, David, Mary, Peter or Isa Al-Masih they can give a clear answer. When Muhammad was born in 570 AD, Christianity had spread widely but in their Holy Scriptures they found no mention of Muhammad.
Second, so much of what was taught by Muhammad as divine revelation contradicts the Bible. How can Christians embrace his teaching? Obviously they will choose the older divine revelation which is supported as fact in other historical references. For example, the Bible teaches and Christians believe that Isa Al-Masih died on the cross (secular historians corroborate this fact); yet the Koran states Isa Al-Masih did not die on the cross (Sura 4:157-158). To add to the confusion, some Koranic verses (Sura 19:33; 5:117) seem to indicate that Isa Al-Masih did die. What source of truth should Christians choose? They will trust the clear historical narrative as given in their Holy Scriptures.
Hence Christians have no clear answer to the above question. Muhammad is not mentioned in their Scriptures and many of his teachings are not in harmony with these Scriptures (e.g. jihad, 
polygamy and haj commands). Indeed some of Muhammad’s teachings do agree with the Bible; but when they contradict the Scriptures, Christians must reject them.

“May I ask you, what do you think about the verses in the Quran which are the same as the verses in the Bible? For example, Isa is the son of Maryam (Mary), Isa is the Word of Allah, and Isa is the Judge on the Judment Day. Can you tell me what this means since the Bible was written before Mohammad’s birth and before the Quran was written?”
Some verses are same because “unchanged” verses in bible comes from same source which is Allah. It’s why Allah upgraded his messages again. That is what Quran emphasizes, it’s upgraded version of all the Holy books. It s why you will surely find similar verses. That’s the point my brother.

A common accusation leveled by Muslims against Christians is the belief that the Holy Bible in our possession today, has been corrupted and no longer represents the original teachings of Allah’s messengers.
The Quran itself states that Allah would make sure that the Bible would be protected from corruption:
“We have, without doubt sent down THE MESSAGE (Zhikra); And We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).” [S. 15:9 – Y. Ali]
That this includes the Holy Bible is made clear in the following citations:
“And before thee We sent none but men, to whom We granted inspiration: If ye realise this not, ask of those who possess THE MESSAGE (Zhikri).” [S. 16:43 – Y. Ali]
“Before thee, also, the messengers We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: if ye know this not, ask of those who possess THE MESSAGE (Zhikri).” [S. 21:7 – Y. Ali]
“In the past We granted to Moses and Aaron the Criterion (al-Furqana) (for judgment), And a Light and a Message (Zikra) for those who would do right.” [S. 21:48]
“Before this, We wrote in the Psalms, after THE REMINDER (Zhikri): `My servants, the righteous, shall inherit the earth.'” [S. 21:105]
“We did aforetime give Moses the Guidance, and We gave the Book in inheritance to the Children of Israel – A Guide and A REMINDER (Zhikraa) to men of understanding.” [S. 40:53-54 – Y. Ali]
These passages establish that the revelation given to Moses, David and the Book which Jews and Christians possessed at the time of Muhammad is also part of that Reminder which God sent down and promised to preserve. Hence, for Muslims to state that the Bible is corrupt basically means that God failed to guard his message from corruption, breaking his promise of insuring its preservation.

Why such an erroneous claim.
How can we justify that all the acts of Muslim main Prophet depict the true messenger of God if the Bible.
Kill them, sleep with female captive as your spoils, behead people etc.

In Jesus’ farewell discourse in the Gospel of John (chapters 14 to 16), Jesus speaks about the coming of the “Spirit of Truth” or “Advocate” (in Greek, parakletos). Muslim interpreters have seen Muhammad as this “Advocate,” based on Qur’an 61:6, a verse in which Jesus predicts the coming of a future prophet named Ahmad: “O Children of Israel! Truly I am the Messenger of God unto you, confirming that which came before me in the Torah and bearing glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me whose name is Ahmad”. Ahmad, which is another name for Muhammad, is very close etymologically to the Greek word, parakletos, so it is likely that the Qur’an is claiming that Jesus’ farewell discourse in the Gospel of John predicts Muhammad. The major objection to applying these predictions to Muhammad or any other prophet is that Christians read them as part of Jesus’ promise of the gift of the Holy Spirit.
John 14:16-17, the Advocate or Spirit of Truth is spoken of as an everlasting, invisible, abiding, inner presence. Muhammad was a person so these attributes does not apply to a person. The other point here is that Jesus was speaking to His disciples and Muhammad would not have been bringing comfort to these persons since Muhammad was born hundreds of years later. The church did not sit waiting 600 years for Muhammad but was moving and growing long before.
Finally, according John 14:26, we see that one of the tasks of the Holy Spirit is to confirm the words of Christ. So, why does Muhammad disagree so much with Jesus and Scripture?

We realize that the person of Jesus (Isa) in the Quran is not exactly the same as the Jesus of the Bible. The complete picture of Jesus is only found in the Bible. There are things in the Quran that support the truth about Jesus in the Bible but there are also differences. The Quran provides a good starting place when discussing the person of Jesus with Muslims.
